Flick

Privacy policy

Effective date: 2026-09-05

What Flick collects

When you create a Galactus account, we store your name, your email address, and your sign-in credentials. When you subscribe, the Galactus Labs account system stores your plan and billing status.

Your Gmail data

The Mac app connects directly to Gmail with the permission you grant through Google. Flick keeps an index of recent mail on your Mac for fast search. Your messages and your Gmail tokens do not pass through a Flick server. You can revoke Flick's access at any time in your Google account settings.

How we use your information

We use account information to operate Flick, manage your subscription, and respond to your requests. We do not sell your personal information.

Google API Services

Flick's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept until you delete your account. The search index is stored only on your Mac. To delete your account and its data, contact us.

Data sharing

We share information only with the service providers that run the account and billing systems (such as cloud hosting and authentication providers), under confidentiality obligations, or when the law requires it.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit and industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
