Acceptance of these terms
These terms apply when you use Flick, the Mac app for Gmail made by Galactus (“we”, “us”), and this website. By using Flick, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Flick.
Your Galactus account
You sign in to Flick with a Galactus account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact support@galactus.dev.
Your Gmail account
You connect Gmail to Flick through Google’s sign-in, and you choose the access you grant. The app on your Mac talks to Gmail directly. Your Gmail tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain, and your messages and Gmail tokens do not pass through a Flick server. Flick keeps recent mail on your Mac for fast search. You can revoke Flick’s access at any time in your Google account settings. Flick’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Flick depends on Gmail and the Gmail API. If Google changes or limits them, parts of Flick can stop working.
Actions in your mailbox
Flick changes your mailbox only when you tell it to: it sends, archives, labels, and schedules messages on your instructions. You are responsible for the messages you send and the changes you make with Flick. The app on your Mac sends a scheduled message, so the message goes out only while Flick is running.
Acceptable use
Use Flick only for lawful purposes. Do not use Flick to send spam or unsolicited bulk mail, to harass or deceive people, to send malware, or to break the law. When you use Gmail through Flick, you remain bound by Google’s terms and policies. If you use open tracking, you are responsible for following the laws that apply to tracking the messages you send. Do not try to reverse engineer, disrupt, or get unauthorized access to Flick or its systems.
Trial and paid plans
A new Flick account includes a free trial of 14 days from your first Flick sign-in. The trial needs no card. After the trial, you need a paid plan (Flick Pro or Labs Ultra) to keep using Flick. Current prices are on the pricing page. Billing is handled by Galactus Labs. A paid plan renews automatically each month or each year until you cancel it.
Cancellation
You can change or cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals.
Intellectual property
Flick and its software are owned by Galactus and protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Flick under these terms. Your mail stays yours: these terms give us no rights to your Gmail data.
Disclaimer of warranties
Flick is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Flick will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Flick.
Termination
You can stop using Flick at any time. To delete your account and its data, contact us. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Flick.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains how Flick handles your information. It is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms from time to time. When we do, we change the effective date on this page. If you continue to use Flick after a change, you accept the revised terms.
